Royal Trek is shortest trek and hike of home stay trekking area of Pokhara valley. This trek is an immersive experience. It is a small trek in the Annapurna region which takes you on a four-day loop through the Himalayan foothills. Trek passes through the beautiful Gurung hamlets and as you hike the terraced farmland your eye beholds the magnificent Annapurna ranges, Macchapuchhre, and the Langtang Mountains that give you a view of natural beauty at its best. The route gradually climbs up through the ethical villages and forest of Rhododendron. It has been specially designed offer you the opportunity of exploring the famous Annapurna region’s dramatic mountain views on a route that is not frequented by hordes of tourists. The valley system above opens up to a huge expanse of huge snow peaks, ancient villages, and high altitude grazing settlements. This trek leads the wilderness away from traditional Gurung villages. This trek takes you to the remote villages that are far from the beaten track.

The Royal trek starts from the Pokhara city which is also known as the city of the lake after 6 hours driving from the Kathmandu valley. Trekking in this route offers panoramic views of the Pokhara valley. While you traveling in this route you get an opportunity to see our national flower everywhere in the forest of this route. The season between February to May and September to December is considered as the best season for trekking in this route. The trek itself is not difficult one allowing time to study the wealth of flora and fauna to be found on this route. Trekking to this hidden mountain valley passes through the ancient villages, allowing visitors to spectator its age-old Nepalese or Tibetan culture, and a wide diversity of terrain and ethnicity to the other world. Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

After arriving at the Kathmandu airport and you will meet office manager who comes to pick up you. After you picked from the airport we will move towards our hotels and first we check out and if you come to our country in the morning time we will explore Thamel Bazaar and in the evening time we will have our welcome dinner and if you come in the evening time then we will directly join our welcome dinner.      

Day 02: Drive Pokhara [823m/2,700ft] 6-7 hrs

Early in the morning, we will slowly start our trekking towards Pokhara city after spending the wonderful night in the Kathmandu valley. We will have our breakfast on the way. During the time of trekking in the way, we get many opportunities to see the natural beauty of Nepal which makes our trekking more enjoyable and memorable. After 6 to 7 hours drive from the Kathmandu valley, we will reach in Pokhara city which is also known as the city of the lake where we will spend one night.   

Day 03: Pokhara to Kalikasthan [1,370m/4,496ft] 4-5 hrs

This is our first-day walking trekking in Annapurna region. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly start our trekking towards Kalikasthan after reach in this beautiful village we rest for some time then explore the surrounding area and we will spend overnight in this village.   

Day 04: Kalikasthan to Syaklung [1,730m/5,675ft] 5-6

We start our trekking walking through the villages after having breakfast. During the time of trekking, we will many beautiful places, villages, and the Lush forest of Rhododendron. We will have our lunch on the way after lunch we will keep walking until we don’t reach in Syaklung with the awesome views of the Mountain and after reach in Syaklung, we will spend one night in this village.   

Day 05: Syaklung to Chisapani [1550m/5,084ft] 5-6

While traveling this day trekking, we get chance to explore or to know about the lifestyle of the local Gurung people. At the time of trekking, we get amazing views of Mt Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, fishtail and pass through the rhododendron forest and keep walking until we don’t reach in Chisapani and spend one night in this village. 

Day 06: Chisapani to Pokhara

We leave Chisapani for Pokhara. During the time of trekking, we will explore all around Begnas Tal and we will enjoy an hour of boating then we will transfer to Pokhara city, check out in the hotel and then after we will go to explore all around the Pokhara city and come back to the hotel and spend one night in Pokhara city.   

Day 07:  Pokhara to Kathmandu 6-7 hrs

Spending the wonderful moment in Pokhara we will slowly move towards Kathmandu valley. By the way, we get many opportunities to see the natural beauty of Nepal which makes our trekking more enjoyable and memorable with the natural beauty of Nepal. After reach in the Kathmandu valley, we will explore around the Thamel Bazaar and we will spend one night in the Kathmandu valley.  

Day 08: Final departure

After having breakfast early in the morning your trekking guide comes to your hotel to take you in the airport. We will drop you at the international airport and see you off.

  • Two nights standard accommodation in Pokhara, The hotel is nearby lake, you can enjoy Mountain View and Fewa lakes from the roof of the hotel.
