Manaslu Circuit Trek is the latest popular strenuous trek in the Himalayan region. This trekking route is a well-loved trekking trail providing unspoiled mountains views, rich culture, and genuine adventure sum up to trek experiences around the Manaslu. This trek has all the features of wilderness trekking in Nepal that includes Buddhist and Hindu culture, wildlife, rhododendron forest, wildflowers, deep valley, raging river, and spectacular mountain scenery. It is located near the border of Nepal alongside Tibet. The circuit is a stunning trek with spectacular views of Mt Manaslu and the Ganesh Himal ranges, among others. During the time of trekking, you will be passing through the Manaslu Conservations area which is home to 11 types of forests. The completed circuit around this Mountain and the crossing of the Larkya La pass is one of Nepal’s best-kept secrets for trekkers seeing of experience the culture and remote area of Nepal.

Manaslu Circuit Trek is located in the western part of Nepal which is well known as the much-loved trekking trails of Nepal. This route provides great views of some of the highest mountains in the world. Mt Manaslu is also counted as the 8th highest mountain in the world. The trail passes through the beautiful alpine meadows at Bhimtang before joining the main trails of the Annapurna circuit heading to the trailheads of Besishar. There are very few tea houses along the trails which are of basic standards. The season between March to May and September to November is considered the best season for trekking in this route. And if you are planning to do trekking in the spring season then you get an opportunity to see our national flower rhododendron all in the forest of Nepal. The trips give you a perfect memory of traditional culture with their warm welcoming as well as the great views of the Himalayans which will reflect on your heart through life.

Day 07:  Namrung – Samagaon [3530m/11,578 ft] 6-7 Hrs

Day 08:  Samagaon – Pungyen gompa – Samagaon 6 – 7 Hrs

Day 09:  Samagaon – Samdo [3860m/12,660 ft] 4 – 5 Hrs

Day 10: Rest Day in Samdo

Day 11:  Samdo – Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. [4460m/14, 628 ft] 4 – 5 Hrs

Day 12:  Dharamsala – Larkya la [5160m/16, 924 ft] – Bimthang [3720m/12, 201 ft] 8 – 9 Hrs

Day 13: Bimthang – Tilije [2300m/7544ft] 5 – 6 Hrs

Day 14:  Tilije – Tal [1700m/5576 ft] 5 – 6 Hrs

Day 15:  Tal – Syange [1080m/3542 ft] 6 – 7 Hrs

Day 16: Syange – Kathmandu 8-9 Hrs

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

After arriving at the Kathmandu airport and you will meet office manager who comes to pick up you. After you picked from the airport we will move towards our hotels and first we check out and if you come to our country in the morning time we will explore Thamel Bazaar and in the evening time we will have our welcome dinner and if you come in the evening time then we will directly join our welcome dinner.      

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola [710m/2328 ft] 8 - 9 Hrs

Early in the morning, we will slowly start our trekking towards Sotikhola after spending the wonderful night in Kathmandu valley. We will have our Lunch on the way. During the time of trekking in the way, we get many opportunities to see the natural beauty of Nepal which makes our trekking more enjoyable and memorable. We will spend one night in this beautiful village.    

Day 03: Soti Khola - Maccha Khola [900m/2952 ft] 6 - 7 Hours

During the time of trekking, we will pass through the beautiful places of this region. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will take some rest and keep until we don’t in Maccha Khola where we will spend our night.  

Day 04:  Maccha Khola -Jagat [1410m/ 4625 ft] 6 - 7 Hrs

While traveling in this route, we will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron, pine and oak forest. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly start our trekking towards Jagat and after reach, in Jagat, we will spend one night in this beautiful village.

Day 05:  Jagat - Deng [1,804m/5917 ft] 6 - 7 Hrs

At the time of trekking, we will pass through the many beautiful villages and we also visit one of the most beautiful Gurung villages and we will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron and Pine forest and we will spend one night in this village.

Day 06: Deng - Namrung [2630m/8626ft] 6 - 7 Hrs

The trails also pass through the forests and mani where we turn towards a corner that contours to Ghap. At the time of trekking, we will pass through the many beautiful places of this region and we will have our lunch on the way then after taking some rest and continue our trekking towards Namrung and we will spend one night in this beautiful village.    

Day 07:  Namrung – Samagaon [3530m/11,578 ft] 6-7 Hrs

We leave Namrung for Samagaon after having breakfast in the hotel. During the time of trekking we will pass through the beautiful places, lush forest of Rhododendron, Pine and Oak forest and have lunch on the way after lunch we will keep walking until we don’t reach our destination and we will spend one night in this village.  

Day 08:  Samagaon - Pungyen gompa - Samagaon 6 - 7 Hrs

While doing this day trekking, we get an opportunity to explore Mt Manaslu Himal, Singu Chuli, and Ganesh Himal and when we reach Pungyen Gompa we will explore all this beautiful gompa after the visit in this gompa we will come back to Samagaon and we will spend one night in this beautiful village. 

Day 09:  Samagaon - Samdo [3860m/12,660 ft] 4 - 5 Hrs

Leaving the Samagaon for Samdo. During the time of trekking, we will pass through the many suspension bridges, the forest of birch, juniper, and cross the Bhudi Gandaki on a wooden bridge and we have finally passed through Kani and we will find Samdo and we will spend one night in this beautiful village.    

Day 10: Rest Day in Samdo

We don’t start our trekking because today day is for rest in Samdo village. Today whole day we will explore all around this beautiful village from where we can see many wonderful views of Mountain of this region which can be seen from this region and at the evening time we will come back to our Tea House and we will spend one night in this beautiful place.   

Day 11:  Samdo - Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. [4460m/14, 628 ft] 4 - 5 Hrs

Cross the wooden bridge over Budi Gandaki and begin walking upward. You can enjoy the wonderful views of the mountain like Manaslu, Singuchili and Larke Peak and we will keep walking until we don’t reach in Dharamsala and we will spend one night in this village. 

Day 12:  Dharamsala - Larkya la [5160m/16, 924 ft] - Bimthang [3720m/12, 201 ft] 8 - 9 Hrs

We can enjoy great views of Cho Danda and Larkya peak. While trekking in the route we will pass through the Larkya la and have our lunch after lunch we will take some rest and slowly continuous our trekking towards Bimthang where we will spend one night in this beautiful village.    

Day 13: Bimthang - Tilije [2300m/7544ft] 5 - 6 Hrs

We pass across the field before making a steep climb over a ridge. We will have our lunch on the way then after we will slowly start our trekking towards Tilije after reach in this beautiful village we rest for some time then explore the surrounding area and we will spend overnight in this village.   

Day 14:  Tilije - Tal [1700m/5576 ft] 5 - 6 Hrs

We enjoy the stone paved trail as it passes through a beautiful village. During the time of trekking, we will many beautiful places, villages, and the Lush forest of Rhododendron. We will have our lunch on the way after lunch we will keep walking until we don’t reach in Tal with the awesome views of the Mountain and after reach in Tal, we will spend one night in this village.   

Day 15:  Tal - Syange [1080m/3542 ft] 6 - 7 Hrs

Spending the wonderful time in Tal we will move towards Syange. You can enjoy the wonderful views of the mountain like Manaslu, Annapurna II, Lamjung Himal and Annapurna IIII, walking until we don’t reach in Tal and we will spend one night in this village.   

Day 16: Syange – Kathmandu 8-9 hrs

From Syange, we will move towards Kathmandu valley after having breakfast in Kathmandu valley. By the way, we get many opportunities to see the natural beauty of Nepal which makes our trekking more enjoyable and memorable with the natural beauty of Nepal. After reach in the Kathmandu valley, we will explore around the Thamel Bazaar and we will spend one night in the Kathmandu valley. 

Day 17: Final departure

After having breakfast early in the morning your trekking guide comes to your hotel to take you in the airport. We will drop you at the international airport and see you off.

  • Airport / Hotel / Airport pick up and Drop by private car/van/bus.
  • Hotel In Kathmandu: 2 Nights standard accommodation in Katmandu and include Breakfast.
  • Kathmandu to Arughat by Jeep and Sangee to Kathmandu by Express bus or Jeep.
  • You’re Meal in During the Trekking as Your standard meals (3 times a day Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a cup of tea or coffee).
  • All Trekking Permit (MCA), (ACAP), Manaslu Special Permit.
  • Accommodation in Trekking: All accommodations in lodge/tea houses during the trek & Campsite where is not able to lodge.
  • Trekking Guide: An experienced, helpful, friendly and English speaking Trekking Guide. His well- paid salary, meals, accommodation insurance and flight ticket etc.
  • Trekking Porter: porters (1 porter for 2 peoples). Salary, Food, Drinks, Accommodation, Transportation.
  • After the Success Trip, Journey Nepal Adventure will Provide Adventure Certificate.
  • The arrangement of Emergency Helicopter service which will be paid by your Travel insurance company.
  • Medical supplies (first aid kit will be available).

  • Nepal entry visa fee (you may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport - Katmandu).
