Everest Gokyo Lake Trek

Everest Gokyo Lake Trek is one of the best treks among the Everest region which is considered as an alternative trek to the traditional Everest base camp trekking. The trek exhibits the solitary, pristine turquoise Lakes, stunning glacier and parade of snowy peaks together. It is one of the usual paths for trekking in the Khumbu Himalayan of Nepal. There are many options for high altitude walking including the crossing of Cho La pass and Rengo la pass however you will not cross those passes. We will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron, Oak, and pine, snow-fed river, and fabulous glacier, and pass through the Sherpa village and old monasteries of this region. The valley is considered as the hidden valley with an appropriate blue Lake inside the lap of Himalayan. From this trekking route, we will get an opportunity to explore the Mount Everest Base Camp and to have a closer look at the stunning Khumbu icefall. It is the best destination if you are really interested in mountains and alpine scenery. From this route, we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of Mt Everest, Cho Oyu, Amadablam, Nuptse, Island peak, Mera peak, Makalu, and many other peaks.
Everest Gokyo Lake Trek starts from the Lukla after 30 minutes scenic flight from the Kathmandu valley. The major attractions of this route are the Mt Everest and the warm and friendly hospitality of the Sherpa people in this region. While traveling in this route, you will get many tea houses to spend your nights which is basic but enough comfortable. This trek will provide you complete pleasure as you will get chance to enjoy the actual journey. In this route, we get an opportunity to know about the culture, tradition, and costume of the local inhabitant of this region which includes Sherpa, Limbu, and Rai people. The trekking lead by Expiration mountain guide. The season between February to May and October to November is considered as the best season for trekking in this route of this region.
