Chulu West Peak Climbing is one of the popular peaks climbing in Annapurna regions of Nepal. This peak climbing is suitable for experienced trekkers and amateur climber who wish to submit a demanding trekking peak in the Annapurna region of Nepal. The trekking trails for peak climbing is a memorable route which provides the most beautiful views of surrounding peaks as well as lush green forests of Nepal. While mountaineering the peak we will be rewarded by the fabulous views peaks like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri and other massive peaks. Mountaineering and climbing are one of the major attractions and adventure activities Annapurna region of Nepal and this peak climbing is also considered as the one of best peak climbing in this region. While this peak climbing, we will see most of the tribes and inhabitants are Gurung, Magars, and Thakalis. There is also Chulu East Peak Climbing located in this region. At the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron, Oak, and pine, snow-fed river, and fabulous glacier, and pass through the Sherpa village and old monasteries of this region.

Chulu West Peak Climbing starts from Besi Sahar after 6 hours driving from the Kathmandu valley which offers an ideal opportunity for those who want to summits a Himalayan peak. The trails lead slowly to the Manang valley, which is one of the highest valleys of the world. The view from the summit is simply breathtaking. The previous climbing experience doesn’t require for this and the high level of physical fitness is most needed. The views of the majestic green hills are unforgettable. This trek may have the chance to touch with the wide range of diversified culture and lead by Expert Mountain Guide. The season between March to April and October to November is the best season to climbing this peak climbing.

Day 04: Dharapani to Chame [2,710m/8,891ft] 6 – 7 Hrs

Day 05: Chame to Pisang [3,300m/10824ft] 5 – 6 Hrs

Day 06: Upper Pisang to Manang [3,500m/11,482ft] 6 – 7 Hrs

Day 07:  Rest in Manang

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

After arriving at the Kathmandu airport and you will meet office manager who comes to pick up you. After you picked from the airport we will move towards our hotels and first we check out and if you come to our country in the morning time we will explore Thamel Bazaar and in the evening time we will have our welcome dinner and if you come in the evening time then we will directly join our welcome dinner.      

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu to Syange [1100m/3608 ft] 8 - 10 Hrs

Early in the morning, we will have our breakfast then after we leave Kathmandu around 7 o’clock after 8 to 10 hours drive we will reach Syange which is the starting point of our trekking. Before reaching Syange we will pass through river, villages, farm and beautiful mountain sceneries and we will spend one night in this beautiful village.   

Day 03: Trek Syange to Dharapani [1,960m/6,430ft] 7 - 8 Hrs

After breakfast early in the morning, we start our trekking today in a relaxed way. The trail goes through the Barley, rice, Potato fields, and pine forests after we will pass through the village of Kodo we will be at the Dharapani which is one of the big villages in the Manang Villages and we will spend one night in this beautiful village.    

Day 04: Dharapani to Chame [2,710m/8,891ft] 6 - 7 Hrs

We leave Dharapani for Chame after having breakfast in the hotel. Moving towards the Chame, we get many opportunities to see the wonderful views of the mountain like Lamjung Himal, Annapurna 2, Annapurna 4, and also pass through the small hot springs and we will reach in Chame and we spend one night in Chame which is the administrative center of Manang district.   

Day 05: Chame to Pisang [3,300m/10824ft] 5 - 6 Hrs

Today we start our journey towards Pisang before reach in Pisang we will pass through a very dense forest will bring us to the dramatic curved rock face, and we get surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks and the lush forest of rhododendron and keep walking until we don’t reach in Pisang where we will spend one night.  

Day 06: Upper Pisang to Manang [3,500m/11,482ft] 6 - 7 Hrs

At the time of trekking, we will walk towards the wonderful views of the mountain, the lush forest of rhododendron, and the wonderful village of this region. On the way, we will visit Barge monastery which is the largest in the entire district of Manang where we will spend one night.

Day 07:  Rest in Manang

We don’t start our trekking because today day is for rest in Manang. Today whole day we will explore all around this beautiful village from where we can see many wonderful views of Mountain of this region which can be seen from this region and at the evening time we will come back to our hotel and we will spend one night in this beautiful place.

Day 08: Trek to Leder [4200m] 4 - 5 Hrs

After spending the memorable time in Manang we will move towards Leder where we continue through the alpine landscape with high altitude vegetation and forests.  We will pass through Yak Kharka and we will keep walking until we don’t reach in Leder where we will spend one night in Leder village.    

Day 09: Trek to Chulu West Base Camp [4900m/16,072ft] 4 - 5 Hrs

Leaving Leader for Chulu West Base Camp after having breakfast. We continue our trekking from Leder towards Chulu west base camp. Before reaching Chulu west base camp we will pass through the many beautiful places of this region and spend one night in Chulu west base camp.  

Day 10: Chulu West base camp to camp I [5100m/16,728ft] 4 - 5 Hrs

From the Chulu west base camp we will start our trekking towards Camp I. At the time of trekking, we get the opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, village, rice field and the lush forest of the Pine tree. We will have our lunch on the way and keep walking towards Camp I where we will spend one night.   

Day 11: Rest in Camp I

Today we don’t start our trekking because today day is for rest in Camp I. Today whole day we will explore all around this beautiful village from where we can see many wonderful views of Mountain of this region which can be seen from this region and at the evening time we will come back to our hotel and we will spend one night in this beautiful place.

Day 12: Trek to Camp II [5,530m/18,143ft] 4 - 5 Hrs

Spending the memorable time in Camp 1 then we will move towards Camp 2. we will pass through the lush forest of pine forest, wonderful village, majestic views of the mountain, and we will make an overnight stay in Camp II. 

Day 13: Summit Chulu West and back to Camp I 9 - 10 Hrs

This day is our summiting day because today whole day we will summit Chulu West. Today whole day we have to face many problems to walk in icy high altitude. After summiting the Chulu west we will back towards Camp I where we will spend one night in Camp I. 

Day 14: Trek to Leder: 5 - 6 Hrs

We continue our trekking from Camp I towards Leder. Before reaching Leder we will pass through the many beautiful places of this region. And from where we can enjoy the wonderful views of the mountain and we will spend one night in Leder.  

Day 15: Leder to Thorong Phedi [4450m/14,596ft] 3 - 4 Hrs

To reach in Thorong Phedi from the Leder there are two routes that we can follow today. At the time of trekking, we will walk towards the wonderful views of the mountain, the lush forest of rhododendron, and the wonderful village of this region. We will have our lunch on the way and keep walking until reach at Thorong Phedi where we will spend one night.   

Day 16: Thorong Phedi to Jomsom [2,715m/8,910ft] 7 - 8 Hrs

We start our journey towards Jomsom before reach in Jomsom we will pass through a very dense forest will bring us to the dramatic curved rock face, and we get surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks and the lush forest of rhododendron and keep walking until we don’t reach in Jomsom where we will spend one night. 

Day 17:  Jomsom to Pokhara by flight

The completion of morning breakfast, we check in the airport to fly towards Pokhara which is also known as the city of the lake. After 30 minutes dramatic fly from the Jomsom, we will reach Pokhara. After reach at Pokhara first of we will check out the hotel and we will explore all around the Pokhara City and come back towards the hotel and spend one night.

Day 18:  Back to Kathmandu 6 - 7 Hrs

Upon our breakfast today, we will move towards Kathmandu valley after spending the wonderful and memorable time in Pokhara. By the way, we get many opportunities to see the natural beauty of Nepal which makes our trekking more enjoyable and memorable with the natural beauty of Nepal. After reach in the Kathmandu valley, we will explore around the Thamel Bazaar and we will spend one night in the Kathmandu valley.  

Day 19: Final Departure

After having breakfast early in the morning your trekking guide comes to your hotel to take you in the airport. We will drop you at the international airport and see you off.
