Langtang Valley Trek is another popular trekking route of the Langtang region. This trekking adventure takes the trekker to the scenic this valley in the Langtang region of the Himalaya. It is the closest Himalayan region from the Kathmandu valley. A visit to this region offers the opportunity to explore typical villages, big small peaks and visit glacier at a comfortable low elevation. The major highlight of this valley trek is the breathtaking views of Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges and the amazing glimpse of Langtang glacier. Trekking in this valley takes you across less crowded hiking trails across this beautiful land not very far from the Kathmandu valley. In this route, you will have quite comfortable and safe accommodations to stay during their travel period in this region. The valleys offer the variety of rhododendron, bamboo forest, majestic waterfalls, and pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock, and snow-capped peaks.This trip also include Tamang Heritage trekking route on the time of trekking, we will entire valley is an integral part of Langtang National park, which is one of the oldest National parks. The scenery of this region is spectacular, and the treks are more adventurous as the area is visited by a few numbers of tourists.

Langtang Valley Trek starts from Syabrubesi after 8 hours drive from Kathmandu valley. Its flourishing alpine vegetations and dense forests of rhododendrons and oaks is a prime habitat from many elusive and rare wild animals including red panda and snow leopards. This trek is can be done any time of the years. We will pass through the small villages, farmlands and verdant forests of Kyangjin Gompa. While you enjoy the natural wonder you can immerse in the amazing cultural atmosphere of the valley, flora, and fauna during your trekking adventure. This region is also known as the home of the 100 species of plants and many wild animals and birds including snow leopard, rare Himalayan wildlife black bear, and 250 species of birds. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 02:  Kathmandu drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft) 7-8 hrs

Day 03:  Syabrubensi trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft) 6 hrs

Day 04: Lama Hotel Trek to Langtang Village (3543m/11,621ft) 6-7 hrs

Day 05:  Langtang Village trek to Kyangjing Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft) 4-5 hrs

Day 06: Acclimatization- Explore Tserko Ri or Kyangjing Ri (5000m/16,404ft) 7-8 hrs

Day 07: Kyangjing Gompa trek  to Lama Hotel 6-7 hrs

Day 08: Lama Hotel trek to Syabrubesi 4-5 hrs

Day 09: Syabrubesi drive back  to Kathmandu

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

After arriving in Kathmandu, a representative of Journey Nepal Adventure will pick you up from the airport and take you to our hotel cheek in the Hotel.  After getting refresh and briefing about the trip.  Welcome dinner hosted by Journey Nepal Adventure. For dinner, you will be served authentic Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country’s food culture. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02:  Kathmandu drive  to Syabrubesi (1,503m/4,959ft) 7-8 hrs

Starting Langtang Valley trekking with drive on Nepal’s mountain highway to reach Langtang area at Syabrubesi, the journey leads past many farm villages and towns with views of  mountains. On reaching Dhunche(District Headquarter)  at 1,960m, a major town of Langtang area and Rasuwa district and an entrance of Langtang National Park. From here drive continues downhill for few hours to Syabrubesi village for overnight at Syabrubesi.

Day 03: Syabrubesi  trek to Lama Hotel (2,480m/8,184ft) 6 hrs

From Syabrubesi, we begin our trek following the Langtang River. At the time of trekking, we will pass through the many suspension bridge, the lush forest of Rhododendron and we will spend one night in the Lama Hotel.   

Day 04: Lama Hotel Trek to langtang Village (3543m/11,621ft) 6-7 hrs

On the following day, you will be trekking for 6 hours to reach Langtang Village. The view of Langtang Lirung, Lanagtang Himal, is clearly visible during the trek to Langtang Village. You also come across several stone houses, pine trees and Rhododendron trees. trek uphill to Langtang Village. Over night at Langtang.

Day 05:  Langtang Village trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft) 3-4 hrs

Langtang village mostly inhabited by Tamang and Bhotias tribe, morning walk leads on gradual path for a short while, then winds up for few hours coming across “mani-prayer wall”, walk leads further east where the gorge opens up into a wide scenic valley with views of peaks at close distance.

After a good walk reaching at Kyanjin Gompa, a beautiful place with panorama of mountains and close views of Langtang Lirung and icefall, here in a nice lodge with afternoon free for short walk visit the cheese factory established some 25 years ago by Swiss Technical Assistance and local support.

Day 06: Rest day in Kyangjin Gompa

Today we will hike to Tserko Ri early in the morning, remains at an altitude of 4990 meters, the topmost place to view the whole Langtang Valley. Tserko Ri provides the 360-degree view of the Langtang valley and Himalayas. The major mountains are Langtang Himal, Kamja la Himal, Langtang Lirung (7234m), Kimoyoshung (6780m), Dragpoche (6582m), Shalbachum (6707m), Pemthang Karpo RI (6830m), Langshisa Ri (6413m) and Dorje Lakpa (6966m). We will  back to Kyangin Gompa , Over night at Kyangjin.

Day 07: Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel 6-7 hrs

After a great time at Kyanjin Gompa, return back on the same trail to Lama-Hotel.

Day 08: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi 4-5 hrs

Trek follows on same route all the way, after crossing bridge walk is pleasant through bamboo forest, on leaving the river walk downhill through farm terraces till Syabrubesi, you are exhausted but exhilarated on the same level. Over night at Syabrubesi

Day 09: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu

Spending the wonderful moment in Langtang Valley trek we will move towards Kathmandu valley. By the way, we get many opportunities to see the natural beauty of Nepal which makes our trekking more enjoyable and memorable.

Day 10: Final departure

Our adventure in Nepal comes to an end today! A Journey Nepal Adventure representative will escort you to the airport approximately 3 hours before our scheduled flight. On our way home, you have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
