The area is mainly populated by Tamang, Gurung, and Ghale to the north, whereas Brahmin, Chhetri, Dalit, Newar, and Chepang are to the south in the lower elevations.
Ganesh Himal Trek starts from Dhanding Beshi after 4 hours drive from Kathmandu valley. This is also known as Ruby Valley Trek. At the time of trekking, we will pass through the dense forests and meadows. During the time of trekking, we will walk through the culturally rich unspoiled ethnic villages and dense forest with wonderful flora and fauna on the backdrop of the breathtaking mountain ranges. It is the hidden gem which is located in the heart of the Himalayas. The season between spring and autumn is the best season for trekking in this route. If you are willing to see the forest full of Rhododendron which is the national flower of Nepal then you may join in the spring season because this season is flower blooms time. The trails take you to a remote area where the facility of the home-stay is available however there are no tea houses or lodges.
