Pike Peak Trek is one of the most beautiful, off the beaten track, parts of the Himalayan. We follow the ancient route that will take you through tiny villages, across high mountains passes, and through the remote valleys, villages, and monasteries. This trekking trail is laying just to the south of the original Everest trails from Bhandar we pass through the wonderful Sherpa village. This is the route where early Everest expeditions used trails show most beautiful Himalayan including Mt Everest, Cho Oyu, Amadablam, Nuptse, Island peak, Mera peak, Makalu, and many other peaks. The range is known for its magnificent views of Himalayan peaks and rhododendron forest, magnolias and orchids. During the time of trekking, we will walk through interesting villages having monasteries, temples, and pilgrimages. It is also known for the awe inspiring-view of sunrise and sunset it offers. This trekking route is one of an ideal trekking route for those trekkers who want a taste of the Khumbu region. The route will require a moderate level of fitness but will prove to be a very rewarding adventure. In this route, you will offer the finest experience of culture, nature, and adventure.

Pike Peak Trek starts from the Jiri after 8 hours drive from the Kathmandu valley. The major attractions of this route are the Mt Everest and the warm and friendly hospitality of the Sherpa people in this region. This trekking have still visitors visit per year so we have to depend on fully organized camping we think this is better but we have options to tea house trek means lodge also. We follow the ancient route that will take you through tiny villages, across high mountains passes, and through the remote valleys, villages, and monasteries. During the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron, Oak, and pine, snow-fed river, and fabulous glacier, and pass through the Sherpa village and old monasteries of this region. Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

After arriving at the Kathmandu airport and you will meet office manager who comes to pick up you. After you picked from the airport we will move towards our hotels and first we check out and if you come to our country in the morning time we will explore Thamel Bazaar and in the evening time we will have our welcome dinner and if you come in the evening time then we will directly join our welcome dinner.      

Day 02: Drive to Jiri (1350m) 9hrs

Early in the morning, we will slowly start our trekking towards Jiri after spending the wonderful night in Kathmandu valley. At the time of trekking, the way to the passes through the beautiful hills densely forested with pines and offers the wonderful views of the mountain and keeps walking until we don’t reach in Jiri where we will spend one night.  

Day 03: Trek to Shivalaya (1770m) 4hrs

We will slowly start our trekking towards Shivalaya after having breakfast in the hotel. During the time of trekking, we will start the trek with a climb to a ridge top and the trail descends to Shivalaya where we will spend one night in this beautiful place.   

Day 04: Trek to Bhandar (2190m) 3hrs

After breakfast, we will slowly start our trekking towards Bhandar village after spending the wonderful night in Shivalaya. During the time of trekking, we will pass through the small village, wonderful views of the mountain, dense forest of pine, and oak and old Stupa and a monastery and keep walking until we don’t reach in Bhandar where we will spend one night in this beautiful place. 

Day 05: Trek to Namkhile (2320m) 4-5hrs

In the morning time, we will slowly start our trekking towards Namkhile after spending the wonderful night in Bhandar village. We will pass through the small villages and a few temples on the way and we will have our lunch on the way and keep walking until we don’t reach in Namkhile and we will spend one night in these beautiful villages.    

Day 06: Trek to Golla (2980m) 3hrs

From Namkhile, we will slowly move towards Golla. We will pass through the Rhododendron forest takes us to the beautiful village of this region, passing the small authentic village of Golla and we will spend one night in this beautiful village.

Day 07: Trek to Nagur (3350m) 4hrs

To reach in Golla from Nagur we begin our trek early in the morning. We will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron, pine, and oak. We get the opportunity to see the wonderful views of Mountain of this region and keep walking until we don’t reach in Nagur where we will spend one night.    

Day 08: Trek to Chamdingma (3510m)

We leave Nagur for Chamdingma after having breakfast in the hotel. We will pass through the beautiful village, the lush forest of rhododendron, and we get an opportunity to see the Mountain View and we will keep walking until we don’t reach in Chamdingma and spend one night in this beautiful night.

Day 09: Hike to the top of Pike (4065m) 5hrs

Today we will hike at the top of Pike after spending the wonderful night in Chamdingma. At the time of hiking, we get chance to see the wonderful views of the mountain like Gaurishanker and Numbur Himal and we will stay one night at camp in this place.  

Day 10: Trek to Junbesi (2670m) 6hrs

During the time of trekking, we will pass through the rhododendron forest, wonderful views of the mountain and small beautiful village of this region. On the way, we will have our lunch and then after we will slowly start our trekking towards Junbesi where we will spend one night.    

Day 11: Trek to Shengeephuk

We will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron, pine, and oak. During the time of trekking, we will pass through the Sagarmatha National Park and we get the opportunity to see the wonderful views of Mountain of this region and keep walking until we don’t reach in Shengeephuk where we will spend one night.     

Day 12: Trek to Sansare Danda

Leaving the Shengeephuk for Sansare Danda. At the time of trekking, you can go for a hike on the top to see the beautiful view of mountains and valleys. We will have our lunch on the way and keep walking until we don’t reach in Sansare Danda where we will stay one night in this place.

Day 13: Trek to Beni

We will slowly start our trekking towards Beni village after having breakfast in the hotel. We will pass through the beautiful village, the lush forest of rhododendron, and we get an opportunity to see the Mountain View and we will keep walking until we don’t reach in Beni and we will spend one night in this beautiful night.

Day 14: Trek to Dudh Kunda (4561m) 3hrs

We begin the day's trek with a downhill walk along the roadway. We will pass through the small villages and a few temples on the way and we will have our lunch on the way and keep walking until we don’t reach in Dudh Kunda and we will spend one night in these beautiful villages.     

Day 15: Trek to Taksinda La 5-6hrs

The route is fairly steep. During the time of trekking, we get an opportunity to explore the Sherpa village, their culture, and traditions. We will have our lunch on the way and keep walking until we don’t reach in Taksinda and we will spend one night in this beautiful village.    

Day 16: Trek to Phaplu 3-4hrs

This route offers the wonderful views of the mountain. During the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron, Pine, and Oak. We will also pass through the Sherpa village of this region and keep walking until we don’t reach in Phaplu and we will spend one night in Phaplu.  

Day 17: Fly to Kathmandu

Spending the wonderful moment in Phaplu we fly towards Kathmandu valley. The flight is going to be very scenic and adventurous. After reach in the Kathmandu valley, we will explore around the Thamel Bazaar and we will spend one night in the Kathmandu valley.     

Day 18: Final Departure

After having breakfast early in the morning your trekking guide comes to your hotel to take you in the airport. We will drop you at the international airport and see you off.
