Jomsom Muktinath Trek is another short trekking route of Annapurna conservation area in Nepal. It is one of the most exciting trekking in the Annapurna region which is located at a height of 2800 meter from the sea level and also part of the Annapurna round trek. The trek is also among the tamest areas with excellent lodges lining the main routes. The diverse Nepalese landscape combined with the rich culture of its people makes this trek more rewarding. For trekking on these trails, you take six hours scenic drive from the Kathmandu valley to Pokhara city. This route is not only perfect for the pilgrims but also for those looking for adventurous trekking in the Himalayas with natural and cultural beauty. This valley trek is more correctly known as Dzongsam or new fort. This trekking route passes through the world’s deepest Kali Gandaki George with dry desert areas like the nearby Tibetan plateau. This trip also include Upper Mustang Trek.

The temple and the religious shrine in these two places are the most noteworthy pilgrimage sites for the Hindus and Buddhist people in this region. There are many attractive things in this trails but one of the most attractive thing in the route is culture, religion, traditions, and lifestyle of Thakali people. Trekking in this route is special for people who don’t have previous trekking experience.
